12 July, 2025 – Adam and Susan manned a booth at "Keep Puako Beautiful Summer Cleanup" at Kawaihae Pua Ka‘ilima Surf Park
8 February, 2025 – HMMC had an educational booth at the “Malama Makali’i Ocean Festival - 30 Year Celebration” at Kawaihae Canoe Club
January 2025 – HMMC helped teach students from Cornell as part of their Conservation Bioacoustics course. Students participated in a hand-on whale observation session.
16 November, 2024 – Susan with the help of Parker high school student, Vincent Galvin, manned a booth at the “International Coastal cleanup Celebrating return of Whales and Hawaii Wildlife” hosted by Hawaii Boat Clubs, for the second year.
14 May 2024 – Susan presented on whales and dolphins to third graders at Parker School
7 March 2024 – Susan manned a table at the Hawai‘i Department of Education’s “Education Community Resource Fair” and shared resources with educators and information about the work of HMMC

Summer 2024 – Suzanne Yin (left) gave several remote talks to school groups from the National Science Foundation icebreaker research vessel, the Sikuliaq, while the ship was in the sea ice in the Arctic Ocean.
March 2024 – HMMC had a booth at the Wiliwili Festival. We had over 115 people come and talk about whales, dolphins and more.
